The first edition of Futura Expo BRESCIA 2022 ended on Tuesday. It was a great new experience and it was mainly thanks to all of you who came to see us.
On Monday 3 October, at the Green Building Pavilion, a conference promoted by the Consorzio Marmisti Bresciani was held, entitled ♻️ “Circular Economy: the turning point in the stone sector. The experience of the Consorzio Marmisti Bresciani”.
Speakers included: Dr. Luisa Senini, President of Consorzio Marmisti Bresciani and owner of SENINI STONE SRL, Dr. Michele Mazzoni, Geologist and Dr. Giuliano Ghirardi, Geologist. In the Brescian Stone District, virtuous behaviour has been adopted for many years in the management of stone waste, becoming a model of Circular Economy. The preservation of the territory and the raw material are the cornerstones on which activities for the valorisation of quarrying residues and the processing of stone products have been developed. Together with a number of partners, including Senini Stone, the Consortium has implemented two important projects, co-financed by Unioncamere and the Lombardy Region, involving sawing sludge, mistone and quarry earth, effective alternatives for public and private building as well as for the environment (environmental restoration) and industry.
