White Marble furnishing styles

White Marble Tiles is loved by those who prefer a country chic style in combination with pastel colours, and it is appreciated by those who wish to enhance the colours against a light background, creating a harmonious space with the use of precious materials. Thanks to its versatility, it can also be interpreted in a contemporary key.

White Marble is a must for total white furnishing.

Our White Marble is 100% natural stone

White Marble Tiles often include Navona travertine, a special ivory-coloured light-coloured travertine. Whichever White Marble Tiles you choose, the marble and travertine specialist company SENINI STONE, which manufactures and exports floor and wall tiles all over the world, recommends laying the White Marble tiles with a suitable white glue on a properly prepared screed underlayment, and for both Tumbled and Domus, Tumbled and Brushed, we recommend laying white tiles with a grout joint laying.

Botticino

Botticino is a limestone that formed in marine environments some 200 million years ago during the Jurassic period, where limestone sediments accumulated. BOTTICINO Marble is a warm and welcoming product that can be customised in different finishes and formats. Ideal for floor coverings both outdoors (terraces, driveways or balconies) and indoors (bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, corridors, waiting rooms), Botticino White Marble flooring is very popular in the antique tumbled finish, the so-called Tumbled Botticino. The manufacturer SENINI STONE offers a wide range of Botticino floors among which the contemporary multi-format tumbled laying pattern is very popular, giving a note of classicism to the coastal style. For exterior design, BOTTICINO marble can be worked in non-slip finishes such as IRONBLASTED or BUSH HAMMERED or used for cladding building facades, fences and skirting boards in the split finish also known as Spaccatello, rough SPLIT finish.

Botticino White Marble has different specificities depending on the bank and quarry where it is extracted, it can therefore be specified in the variants Botticino Classico, Botticino Semiclassico, Botticino Fiorito, Botticino Light. SENINI STONE, which is located nearby in the quarrying basin, is in fact part of the BOTTICINO STONE DISTRICT, Consorzio Marmisti Bresciani of which the owner Luisa Senini is president.

Carrara marble

White Carrara marble, marble from Carrara in Tuscany, is a variety of marble that was formed from limestone rocks following a process of metamorphism that took place around 50-100 million years ago during the Cretaceous period. The stone was formed in a marine environment where limestone sediments accumulated and, subsequently, under high pressure and temperatures, turned into marble. White Carrara marble is the Italian crystalline marble par excellence, just think of Michelangelo’s iconic statues. There are also different specifications of white Carrara marble based on the colour between white and grey, composition and veining, it is therefore often referred to as White Bianco Statuario, Statuario Venato, Bianco Carrara Gioia, Carrara C, Carrara CD. Also quarried in the Tuscan marble basin, but in shades of grey, SENINI STONE also processes Bardiglio, Bardiglietto and Bardiglio Imperiale grey marble.

White Carrara marble is a natural material full of elegance and charm. SENINI STONE’s floor and wall covering customers often request it in checkerboard pattern with Bardiglio or Nero Marquinia for a checkerboard laying or as an antique octagon with small tiles or tesserae.

Biancone marble

One of the most popular Italian White Marble is Bianco Perlino marble, known as Biancone Marble. Quarried in the Asiago plateau and carefully processed by SENINI STONE, it is highly appreciated in antiqued floors in the Patinated brushed finish that accentuates the hollowed veins giving a velvety touch to the surface or in the Antiqued Tumbled finish with irregular antiqued edges and matt surface or the Domus finish, of the Tumbled and Brushed, with its characteristic worn look. There are many formats available, from the warm 100×100mm (4×4 inches) pebble cladding to the large contemporary white rectangular or square formats, like 300x600mm (12″x24″) or 600x600mm (24″x24″) for example. Biancone’s OP-STONE cladding is very popular and, with its interplay of shiny and matt and optical or damask patterns, decorates walls with elegance and prestige.
