Antique Marble Flooring

SENINI STONE, which has specialised in small-sized antiqued marble floor tiles since 1996, has renewed its offer with the ANTIQUED MARBLE FLOOR Contemporary, in the most up-to-date and largest sizes such as the 400×600 mm (≈ 16×24 inches), or the multi-format with various lengths, ideal for laying in runners, or laying schemes that combine sizes of different sizes such as the Opus Romanum.

Antique marble tiling is ideal for the natural stone kitchen wall. The most commonly used tile size is 10×10 cm (100×100 mm ≈ 4×4 inches), marble pebbles available for immediate delivery in the wide range of SENINI STONE marbles and travertines. Antique marble bathroom wall tiles can be produced in various other square formats such as 150×150 mm ≈ 6×6 inches, 200×200 mm ≈ 8×8 inches, 305×305 mm ≈ 12×12 inches, 400×400 mm ≈ 16×16 inches or rectangular formats such as 150×305 mm ≈ 6×12 inches, 305×610 mm ≈ 12×24 inches, 305×458 mm ≈ 12×18 inches, 400×600 mm ≈ 16×24 inches and others. Furthermore, the ancient TUMBLED MARBLE TILES and/or FLOOR can be embellished with antiqued friezes, tumbled greek frets, decorative borders or bands used in tile installations and customised compositions with coloured rhombuses and small tumbled pieces and can be framed with shaped stone borders, mouldings and tile strips that SENINI STONE offers both in standard and bespoke proposals according to the customer’s taste and pleasure.

SENINI STONE’s antiqued marble floor is not only Tumbled, but also in other finishes with different textures, such as the Brushed antiqued floor, known as Patinated, with its soft and velvety surface that recalls the ancient stones trodden over time that we can see in palaces and churches, with a refined and elegant effect that blends well both in renovated environments and in buildings with a modern design.

SENINI STONE produces the antiqued marble floor also in the finish known as Domus, made up of the double processing of Tumbled and Brushed, a floor that brings with it the beauty and authenticity of ancient Italian farmhouses, perfect for giving light and value to rooms. Beloved in Provencal country chic style farmhouses, it matches any type of context where contact with natural materials is appreciated.

Antiqued marble flooring is available in Italian limestone marbles such as Botticino beige marble, Rosso Asiago (Rosso Verona) red marble, Biancone (Bianco Perlino) white marble, in the Tigrato Sardinian tiger-veined breccia, called Daino, as well as in Tuscan crystallines such as Bianco Carrara white marble and Grigio Bardiglio grey marble, often required for a white and grey chequered or black and white checkerboard pattern laying.
